The chapter and it's guests are in for a treat with this "home grown" area talent.

This Baxter Springs educator, history enthusiast, and active re-enactor will be speaking about the 3rd Louisiana Infantry Regiment which was at both Wilson's Creek and Pea Ridge in our region during the War Between the States.

Barry Linduff has been a lover of history all his life, particularly local Civil War History. He has a Master's in History from Pittsburg State University, and a Master's in Education from Northeastern State in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He has been a re-enactor/living historian with Holmes Brigade USV and 3rd Louisiana Historical Infantry Regiment since 1987, and has portrayed the unit at Pea Ridge, Wilson's Creek and Ft. Smith National Historic site. He is a Speech Language Pathologist of 20 years employment in Kansas and Oklahoma.
